There’s a way of serving somen noodles rhat involves sending small bundles of them down a bamboo chute with cold water flowing through it. You pick them out with chopsticks and then dip them in sauce.

This is not stupid food. The machine itself is for soumen which is already pasta people have to recollect just like this. The ingredients are normal. At most they changed the usual pasta for spaghetti and the soup for tomato soup, so it may not mix as expected, but the food is normal and the process is already used at similar food.
The only problem is mixing Japanese style serving dish with an Italian dish. It may make some purist mad, but if you forget about styles then there is little problem.
